Gosh darn it! How can anyone resist this quirky girl from Salt Lake City. She's a cross between Reese Witherspoon and Vanessa Paradis. See for yourself:
This is the first season that I haven't been able to watch American Idol religiously. I have only been able to catch the replays mostly. However, I have seen real raw talent in this newest batch of wannabes. Now that we have the Top 24, things are going to be heating up! Here are just a few worth listening to:
1. Michael Johns, Australian native - Watch his reaction to Simon's comment
2. Carly Smithson, Irish lass - No trace of a brogue at all when she sings. Ann and Nancy Wilson, move over.
3. David Archuleta - Great chops for someone so young. He gave a real nice spin to Bryan Adams' Heaven.
4. Robbie Corrico - Can you believe this guy briefly dated Britney Spears when she was at the brink of stardom?
5. Ramielle Malubay - Again, vested interest for us Filipinos. This petite gal shows how music is so much a part of our everyday lives.
6. Syesha Mercado - She rocked the auditions despite losing her voice...
7. Asia'h Epperson - Powerful and charming.
Bonus for comic relief: Christina Tolisano - What a character!

like to sing (in the car, the loo, anywhere!), dance (more like traipse around), laugh uproariously, read voraciously, watch movies, enjoy the company of friends; eternally wishing it were christmas all year round, amusement park junkie (the higher the ride, the better!), unabashed cryer in cinemas (potential seatmates, beware!), devout carnivore (you can count the veggies i do eat in one hand)...also have a bordering-on-the-absurd collection of all things froggy given by friends and next of kin. maybe one day, one of them'll turn out to be my prince - harharhar!!!
