Say Something Nice
How cool was this? The project involved the construction of a custom wooden lectern with a megaphone holster and an attached sign that read, “Say Something Nice.” The lectern was placed in public spaces around New York and then left alone. It was a chance to see what New Yorkers would do given the situation.
I absolutely loved the lady who didn't hesitate in stepping up to the mic to say, "Hey, you with the umbrella...the blue umbrella. I really like it. It's pretty". Even something as trite as "Have a nice day" might've even made somebody's morning.
Now if only people tried to say something nice everyday and paid that forward, imagine just how much more peaceful and loving the world would be.
Bravo, Improv Everywhere.
