A Not So Black Saturday
These past few days since Wednesday, the metropolis has been relatively traffic-free. Most of the city's populace had gone off to the provinces to either participate in the customary Lenten activities or to take advantage of the four-day weekend for some serious r & r. Those who did choose to stay behind in the city probably felt like staying home to watch television (a Seventh Heaven marathon is always a staple hereabouts at this time of year) since most of the normally busy streets were deserted. Thankfully, this also provided me and my friends Annie and Jennie a chance to meet up. As the pictures below will show, I was pretty happy to see them again.
The last time I saw both of them was at Jennie's wedding last December. Hectic schedules have made it very hard for the four of us to see each other as often as we want to. So when we do get the chance to spend some time to have dinner or see a movie, the hours don't seem to be enough. I just wish it doesn't take another "crisis" to get us together again soon. Next up, overnight at Jen & Rein's new digs, right guys?

Hi Me-an! Thanks in advance for the gift you left with Jen! I have yet to get it from her, though. Hopefully I'll see it soon :) Thanks again!!
