Saving Toby

Can you believe the gall of this guy? Threatening to kill a poor defenseless creature unless he gets 100,000 people to buy his book is utterly despicable. So far, he has managed to sucker 3,467 bleeding hearts into falling for his scam. What they don't seem to realize is that he has had this gimmick going on for the past couple of years. He keeps on changing the dates for "Toby's execution" (it is presently at November 6, 2006). Nobody seems to have noticed.

Buying this book will only encourage lazy excuses for individuals like him to come up with more "creative" ways to get money. What is more distrubing is the fact that amazon.com actually allowed him to sell his wares online! Is there to be no regard at all for people's sensitivities in the quest for the almighty buck? This has gone far and beyond the border of tastelessness (there are even pictures of the bunny on a plate, in a pot, and on a cutting board!). PETA should hunt him down!
