Back In Business

I'm baaack! Had to go on a forced hiatus for several weeks since my PC crashed. Good thing my technical wiz of a brother came to the rescue (thanks, Eug!) Couldn't really do anything much at work except read the updates of friends lest I get caught and be reprimanded for using the internet for personal reasons...

It was the last day of one of my closest friends at work yesterday. She resigned to be able to concentrate on her business. I've no doubt she'll be a successful entrepreneur soon. I really admire her for her guts to go after her dream despite the risks. We'll miss her a lot, though. Now our karaoke gang is less one more member. No matter, she's just a phone call away anyways.

Can you believe the heat nowadays? It's days like these that I sometimes relish going on overtime. At least the airconditioning is on throughout the day. Most weekends will find my family hieing off to the mall to escape the constant underlying threat of heatstroke. Can't wait for the rainy season.
