A Wee Bit Of A Backgrounder
Please bear with me should I tend to ramble or my thoughts seem inane or flighty from time to time. Hopefully, though, this journal should give you an idea of how my mind works (loony and multi-directional) to get to know me a little bit better apart from the comforting environment of home and work...
For starters, most of my friends know I'm into frogs. Lest you think I'm some kind of freakish marine biologist/scientist wanna-be, I simply like collecting stuff about 'em, with 'em, of 'em. Started back when I was in high school in a Catholic girls' school in Manila. Several friends and I decided we were putting up FFF or the Federation of Fellow Froggists. We'd draw frogs anywhere, mostly in whatever piece of paper was available, dressing them as rock stars, princesses, farmers and the like. Have lost touch with those friends as we've gone on to separate directions since then, but that pasttime grew into a fascination with all things frog-like. If I were a shrink, I'd probably say that it might be a reflection of a desire to find my prince among the "frogs" I meet. Yep - am still single and loving it. Though most of my days consist of work, work, and more work, am content and happy being one, yet still wonder how it would be to find that "soulmate"...
